Updating Oak Trim

Many of our clients ask how they can update their oak trim throughout the house without replacing it all, which can be costly. We like to come up with creative ways to accomplish the updating to pull together the look of the house. Below are some before and after photos of a home we are working on now.

For this project we were asked to come up with a plan to update the oak, the railing, the flooring, kitchen layout, and lighting. You will notice many changes in each of the rooms.

The biggest change was painting the oak and then the complete kitchen remodel. We were able to save on cost by lacing the new oak floors in the kitchen and eat-in-kitchen then sanding and staining them all to coordinate. The home owners are anxiously awaiting the finished project!

Until next week, we wish you a wonderful January. Stay warm, enjoy the warm snaps we have been having, and keep an eye out for the complete reveal of this project in March’s Blog: “New Projects We are Working On”!
