Occupied Home Stagings happen when a client/s live in the home after it’s staged, while the house is on the market. With occupied homes we try to use fewer of our own rentals to lower the cost. The clients of occupied homes, are not on site during the day of staging. When they return, there is often a big reveal. In this particular case, the client stopped by the house and surprised us partway through the staging, at a point where accessories were all over the floor, artworks were leaning, and we were moving furniture.
It was the ultimate work in progress, and you could see in in the clients eyes that the chaos was a bit overwhelming, so the client retreated to the lower level until we were finished. The premature viewing made the final reveal even more meaningful. The house was ready for the housing market when we were done, and the transformation looked beautiful, but most importantly the client and the Realtors were all smiles!
